Stay Away from Punjab National Bank - Long way to recover

Indian public sector banks are undoing cleaning process. One of the darling of Dalal Street Punjab National Bank is one of the hardest hit. The gross NPA is around 14 % whereas the fresh slippage is not offering any respite.

Thanks to other income that they made profit but bank urgently need the overhaul of their loan allocation process. The gaps in the loan allocation system impacted PNB in worst manner.

The price of share looks attractive and one may get trapped with the tag.

The purpose of article to create awareness among retail investor to stay from the mentioned stock till they show remarkable improvement in the profitability which is dependent on restructured loan, slippage, gross NPA and NII.

I don't see its proving for next 4 quarter. Stay away from F&O market.
