Reliance Jio May Acquire 50mn+ Subs by 2016 end

Reliance jio 4G launch started subscriber acquisition spree within Telecom section in India. Reliance jio announced that they acquired 16 million subscribers during first month of welcome offer. Reliance jio is offering all services for free to their subscriber who opts for their SIM till 3rd of Dec 2016 whereas subscriber can avail free service till Dec 31st 2016. Reliance jio also announced that they may extend the free period even after welcome offer expires in case Jio call drop issues do not improve.
Based on the channel check across multiple SIM issue points, the request for new SIM by the subscribers are still very strong. On top of that many subscribers are taking number of SIM using single Aadhar card.

One should not surprise if Jio crosses 50 million subscriber marks by 31st Dec 2016. In my point of view, it also raises the question mark on the active subscriber base based on Aadhar card as well as active subscriber base based on number of SIM.  Our assessment is on the basis of SIM card instead of Aadhar card. In conclusion, it's all about number game. It clearly indicates in my point of view that, Jio will be going for an IPO by next year and to get the right valuation, they need numbers.
